The CDA preparation training is based on a core set of competency standards. This course is to guide early care professionals as they work toward becoming qualified childcare providers and educators of young children. This 120-hour course will assist early care professionals to advance their career, meet job requirements, reinforce their commitment to early childhood education, provide families with the best quality care, understand developmentally appropriate practice, and increase their confidence. This training will empower early care professionals with explicit, measurable, and transferable learning competencies in the areas of Safety and Security, Principles of Childhood Development, Child Care Statutes and Regulations, and other areas pertaining to childcare.
